I think it will likely go the distance. Both (recently) went the distance with Chito so I think its a fairly even match.

So I would probably lean towards O'Malley due to the age advantage.

If he remains champ Sean's got his next 2 fights lined up already, could Fig last that long without taking a loss and going back in line? If Sean loses tho I could see them giving him Fig as a bounce back fight he'd be expdected to win

fig. sean is great in some ways (primarily striking), but he is still a hype job. people forget that sean’s road to the title involved favorable matchups and no ranked wins up until he faced petr yan—a “win” widely considered a robbery. his best fight was his most recent vs chito, whom fig also beat. fig is not a hype job. he’s fought ranked guys every fight for the last 5 years, most of them in title fights. he’s more versatile, faster, he’s got some power for being a manlet. gonna pick fig on this one.
