That was terrible. Having said that, either not long after or before ... Sexyama beat him.
 
The Askren/Lawler one wins and it's not even close imo, if Lawler had stopped punching it would have been LIKELY stopped

edit: the johnny walker one is great too, kongo never really went out the same way

Haha, good point. I mean, I didn't think that it was *impossible* that Saku survived and beat Manhoef . . . but it pretty much played out exactly as I feared it would . . . as I imagine A LOT of people thought it would. So still, shame on those match-makers.

He went limp, and woke up again. (According to Askren, who is biased ofc, he let his grip go a bit before Herb stepped in as well, I believe he said).

I mean, you have the gif right there, he goes limp, why would a fighter let his arm flop to the ground during a choke? We disagree and I don't think I can change your mind so all I can say is that I hope you have a nice continued day/evening.

No. His arm drops. He had his arm behind askrens head, then let's his arm drop to post as it looked pretty awkward. Just because it looks kinda funny it does not mean he is out. He posts on the arm ffs. Herb grabs it he pulls it back and gives thumbs up. If he was out his whole body would go limp not just his arm for a split second.

So evidence for lawler being out is a split second where his arm may have looked like it was limp. Evidence against, he immediately posts on the arm. The rest of his body did not go limp. He pulls his arm away and gives a thumbs up. When the fight is stopped he is completely awake lucid and pissed at the stoppage.

You literally provide nothing to change my mind, you posted a gif that more proves my point. The arm going limp is subjective, the thumbs up, you know the actual test to see if he is out, is not. He clearly indicates consciousness a split second after he 'went out' and Herb still stops the fight.
 
Not MMA but in Karate Combat there was a chick KO'd by highkick then waking up from the follow up punch.
