Fights where a fighter looks visibly terrified

Yeah that one was brutal. I think its more so since I was younger and a new fan at the time as well as being a fan of Franklin. I couldn't have imagined him getting wrecked like that a the time. I didn't really know who Anderson was other than the Leben fight.

Yeah I was a Rich Franklin fan too, and thought he'd be able to do something...boy was I wrong lol.

Aldo was surely scared. He looked way different before the fight and had pulled out the fight before because Conor was in his head. He was scared and it was obvious.

"scared" might not be the right word, just like Dustin they were overwhelmed by their anger and that likely messed them both

Rewatching Cro Cop's Debut, was there ever a fighter more terrified to fight someone than Eddie Sanchez?
hadn't seen that one so.... I found it :

Sanchez looked like a sloppy untechnical brawler. Massive difference to the skills of Crocop.

Yeah that happens when the UFC had Conor talking shit to Aldo for a year long world shit talking tour sir.

I would've blown my top too.
And everyone around is laughing at every line Conor says at your expense, including his boss. That would've probably pissed off most people.

Yeah he went in there with something to prove.
Dana set that up nicely, knowing Aldo is a passionate person.

Wish they ran that one back sir.

I remember trying to tell my friend, who was a big Franklin fan, that Rich was about to get merked. He told me I was crazy, didn't know what I was talking about, and bet me $50 - thinking I wouldn't accept. I said "OK. Watch." Smiled the whole time while he screamed at the tv and threw my money at the couch. Good times.

Stipe Vs Nnganou II. He looked nervous during the walkout already but when Stipe went back to his corner after Round 1 he was shook it was written all over his face.

Another good example was Derick Lewis Vs Gane. Lewis looked really scared that time even more than normal the pressure was getting to him.

Also Colby Vs Usman II. Colby looked tentative and apprehensive at the beginning of the fight but I love that fight because after he got dropped and survived he started to get this confidence and just started putting this awesome pressure on Usman.

Maybe Frank Mir vs Brock 2? When he kept motioning to his corner like hes good but had to know he was in deep shit with his arm trapped. I dont understand why he had to tell his corner he was ok.

Or James Thompson trying to psyche himself up to fight Aleksander
Thompson did that a lot before fights.
If I am remembering correctly, Fedor and Schilt may count. It wasn't at the beginning of the fight, but in the middle of Fedor's Pride debut against Semmy Schilt. Everyone before the fight said that Fedor wouldn't know how to g'n'p because of Rings. Halfway through the round, Schlitt was begging for his life. It would've been stopped in the US due to the screams, but Pride let it go.

Stipe nor Colby looked scared at all lol. Just because a guy is tentative doesn’t mean scared. You feel each other out first.

It’s an oldie but I’ll never forget Paul Varelans shaking and covering up while taking a vicious beating from Mark Kerr. Dude looked absolutely terrified.
