I like doing these:
Alexander Volkanovski vs Winner of Holloway-Rodriguez AKA Holloway
Brian Ortega vs Calvin Kattar - both guys got destroyed by elite opposition, have them battle to get a bounce back win
Valentina Shevchenko vs Amanda Nunes III - Doesn't really matter if Amanda wins of loses against Pena, this fight is about the only one that makes sense on every level - title or no title (but almost certainly title)
Lauren Murphy vs Jessica Andrade - No sense stepping Murphy down, Andrade would need to beat Murphy in spectacular fashion to get a title shot
Robbie Lawler vs Jorge Masvidal - welcome Jorge to the retirement circuit, or retire
Nick Diaz - Retire
Curtis Blaydes vs Stipe Miocic - Feels appropriate on both sides
Jairzinho Rozenstruik vs Chris Daukaus - Perfect step up for Daukaus? Rozenstruik just isn't quite elite, but enough name value for Chris.
Jessica Andrade vs Lauren Murphy (see above)
Cynthia Calvillo vs Viviane Araujo - Good fight, but kinda shows there's not enough depth to protect everyone
Merab Dvalishvili vs Jose Aldo - Pretty much the ultimate test for Merab at this stage
Marlon Moraes vs Cody Stamann - I wouldn't cut Moraes by any means, but it could happen - if not, Stamann is about the right level for him and another cardio test
Dan Hooker vs Beneil Dariush - Hooker asked for it, makes a lot of sense
Nasrat Haqparast vs Vinc Pichel - tell me this fight wouldn't be awesome
Chris Daukaus vs Jairzinho Rozenstruik (see above)
Shamil Abdurakhimov vs Augusto Sakai - These guys have beaten a very similar level of opponent, losing to a similar level also
Taila Santos vs Jennifer Maia - feeding Taila to Shevchenko would be a bit of a mistake, I prefer this fight for Taila
Roxanne Modaferri vs Miranda Maverick - Gatekeeper Roxanne is more fun than contender Roxanne
Jalin Turner vs Ignacio Bahamondes - Winner would carry a decent amount of hype, tbh
Uros Medic vs Rodrigo Vargas - Chance for Medic to get back to winning ways
Nick Maximov vs Andre Petroski - Maximov is very technical and very smart, but needs a lot of time and effort before he's actually good - give him TUF winner Petroski, either make TUF look good or keep Maximov rolling
Cody Brundage vs Gilbert Urbina - both guys are 6-2, Brundage probably has the higher ceiling but needs a ton of work. Terrible fight IQ against Maximov.
Matthew Semelsberger vs Jeremiah Wells - Wells shocked Warlley Alves, Semelsberger's best win is over Jason Witt, seems well pitched
Martin Sano - retire
Jonathan Pearce vs Austin Lingo - not really sure how good Pearce is just yet, Austin Lingo would show whether he's talented or just a cardio machine
Omar Morales vs Mike Grundy - if Morales is going to quit against tough opposition, he could lose this, but he should win it
