Anderson vs bisping was a fight I have wanted to see forever. So last month I ordered fightpass to watch the London event. The event streamed fine and there were no delays. Overall watching a fightpass event was good to go. No delays and the picture quality was fine.

Once that was over I decided to explore the content I was paying for. This is where fightpass is terrible. I'm paying for the content, yet I have no access to it. What I mean is, I have UFC.tv linked into my smartv and my Roku. Holy shit is it terrible. It's constantly loading, & sometimes doesn't play at all. There is nothing wrong with my connections because YouTube, Netflix, etc. work fine. I contacted tech support and that was that

So I wrote to them, and figured no worries. I got a discount for 196, so I said wtf, I'll use that to order the fight. The stream started choppy, but after about a minute, it was fine. So again live viewing was fine. Plus for a day or two afterwards, their content streamed fine. I was actually thinking that their problems were fixed. But then shit got worse.

The delays and constant loading messages came back. It even extended to our desktop computer. I sent several messages to the UFC tech support. I kept getting the same messages. The questions were always the same. What are you using, check your connection, erase this, etc. Finally I told them to fuck off. The problem is on their end.

After one month, I have decided that fightpass is not worth it. Sure it's only $10, but I have to cancel out of principle. They refused to acknowledge that the technical problems are on their end. I had limited access to their content. For example, I have attempted to watch the entire 2005 mw Grand Prix for awhile now. It just isn't going to happen. If you're on the fence, pass. Trust me. Their support staff is shit. I told them several times what the errors were and kept my compaint# in the subject, yet I kept getting the same stupid responses.

So my resolution is simple. I will not pay for anything UFC related again. It's back to the el cheapo route. I won't miss events, but fuck them, I'm not paying for shit. I don't want to be that guy, but fuck the UFC. They are making hundreds of millions of dollars per year. They can splurge and get a few decent IT guys. The bonus is I got a deal for $8/month for HBO for the remainder of my contract. So I have hbo just in time for game of thrones. And guess what, titties and sword fighting wins everytime.

I just ordered Fight Pass as well....have the same problems.

Nothing wrong with my connection, yet if I watch old fights I cannot get thru a fight without buffering and loading.

It's fucking annoying.

I still pay for fight pass but I really agree with the last part in particular.

The search function is bad too.

i'm streaming UFC 67 right now at 720p, there hasn't been any skips/lag, and I'm in Australia, the butt end of the internet. There have been some events where 5-10 seconds of footage aren't there, and I assumed it was a video encoding issue.

Yeah I noticed this the other day when I was trying to watch the freaky fights segment, I thought it was just my computer but I guess I was wrong.

In before someone says your connection sucks/it's your ISP

I have practically 0 issues with Fight Pass when I'm using it on my PC. On XboxONE sometimes there are issues. Mainly the GUI is slow as shit on XboxONE.

I have had fight pass since it first came out and i have never had a problem with lag/skipping/or constant buffering or anything for live events, passed events, or any content on fight pass. Thank fuck!

Hmmmm i watch old fights on my XBOX One and it usually works perfectly fine, maybe a buffer here or there but ive never had a problem

But yeah they didnt put all of Strikeforce on there or WEC, trying to watch some of those

But for $10 its really a couple drinks or that for a month (seeing as that and WWE are really all i watch at night)

On my Apple TV, I really wish I can pick the fights I want to see in a event, instead of fast fowarding it, which takes too much time.

From what I've seen fight pass has some major problems and so called "off days" when
the content just isn't going to work at all. It shouldnt be like that and paying 10 bucks for broken content is just too much.

Not paying myself btw.

Of course, $10.00 a month is a great deal but if you can't use the service then $10.00 is $10.00 too much.

It's not the $. Principles are what they are. If I pay for a service, I expect what was promised, or at least a resolution to said issue. Imagine if your cable only worked 15 days out of the month. I'm glad it works for other people. Trust me I don't want to cancel my service, but as a man, how can I not?

I'm with you 100% mbach.

I was about to contact Customer Service myself, but reading your experience with them, I might be wasting my time.

I'm frustrated because when you see the holy grail of fight content laid before you, it's hard as a fight fan to not get excited. If you contact their customer service, it's the same series of messages. They must be used to it. But what pisses me off is they won't admit it's on their end.

How much do they discount ppvs if you have fight pass? How long before you can watch PPVs on fight pass? 30 days? 90 days? Thanks for any info.

I've watched 90% of events on fightpass for about 2 years now and have never had any loading or streaming issues cept for maybe a minute period.

The content has always worked for me when I wanted. I just don't like the search feature.

I paid 45 for the hd 196. I think it's a month. I got it in February and 195 is on there.

Yep, I would love fight pass with no buffering issues.

Hell I'd watch it constantly.

Now when I watch old fights I'm just waiting for it to freeze. Sometimes takes me an hour to watch a 5 round fight.
