If you go to http://FightMetric.com, you are now redirected to http://ufcstats.com, which contains much less stats than the old site (no more per round breakdowns of strike numbers for example). The redesigned UFC site also contains much less stats than the old version.

This is sad. Did the UFC buy them and now are actually making less stats available while collecting more stats than ever (they just mentioned on the latest embedded that they are now embedding sensors in gloves)?

They are using chips on the gloves, maybe they don't want fight metrics to get in the way of the stats.

My bad, I for some reason didn't see this.

But the question still stands. FightMetric.com has essentially been stripped of all other content.

And the statement about the new UFC site is still true.

Well aside from their name and logo changing completely, here is what you got when you visited their front page in January:

Here is what you get today:

All the information contained in the above webpage is also contained in the below webpage. The only thing that changed is the design layout. I mean you didn't even figure out where to look for the per round breakdowns, clearly your main complaint is with style, not substance. You can click on every event, then fight and you'll get the same info. You need to spend more time familiarizing yourself with the new layout.

Looks like its only UFC now

I recall them doing the stats for other MMA fights

Correct me if I'm wrong

They did for select fighters/events:

FightMetric furnishes data that tracks the complete histories for the biggest stars in MMA, including all pre-UFC fights for iconic fighters such as Georges St. Pierre and Anderson Silva, and full career stats for non-UFC standouts such as Fedor Emelianenko and Shinya Aoki. The expanded database will serve as an authoritative source for a deeper analysis of the sport of MMA.

And they are still there:

They no longer do non-UFC breakdowns but all the old non UFC stats are still on the site.

Wasn't this the site that turned off live stats for JJ vs Rose 2 and gave Rose like another 20 strikes in stats post fight so they could cook the books and move on? Might have been another site I forget now.

I think anyone who looks at the before and after sites would agree that the current site is substantially stripped down, lacking even a landing page. A big section that is now completely missing is the rankings for example. That in addition to the complete name and logo change I think would lead most to ask the same question.

But at this point I no longer think you're questioning this in good faith.
