Fighters with their names tattooed on them...

can we all at least agree that a name tat is waaaaay better than the portrait tats we see on fighters? o_O
 
I always assumed fighters who have a tattoo like that usually got it pretty early in their careers, when they're trying to make a name for themselves (so to speak). They want to make sure the crowd remembers who that guy was amidst the sea of wannabes. What better way to link the name to the face, than ink the name to the body?
I've always assumed the same. It makes sense to do it.

It's definitely tactical - draws the opponent's attention to a target they're used to seeing and hitting (a face).

Guaranteed that Loma's opponents are psychologically pre-disposed to throwing right body shots because of that tattoo. Plus it's of his dad, so there's even a resemblance factor to further confuse his opponents.
