I got Frank Mir, Hendo, Gray Maynard and Bigfoot Silva

Because competing in sports is only about proving yourself. Earning money to pay your bills is never a consideration.

I think these guys should go as long as they want or need to. No one has the right to tell anyone else when they should retire besides maybe a commission that won't clear them medically. They all probably have different reasons for staying in it.

80% of the hw div a good chunk of the mw div too. too many to name. but my number 1 pick for guys that need to just fucking stop. struve. i love the guy. i wanted him to do so good. but the guy has been on the worst end of too many bad shots and his heart problems. hang em up bro. you survived a hunto bomb and did not go flatline.

the other guy that really needs to hang em up brad picket. man. the guy is just hanging around. love him too but man think of your family. although i feel the worst for him. he has stated several times he needs the money :( maybe i am being harsh. clearly he is thinking of his family and trying to get money. dana pay that man so he can retire damnit

that's true; but in a sport like MMA you have to also consider your health. Money doesn't help you if you die early and it's only a slight comfort if you develop pugilistic dementia or parkinsonism

people should feel dumb for saying a fighter 'should retire'. It's a very personal decision and has nothing to do with you even as a fan.

Im talking about fighters who get KOed repeatedly and can cause some serious damage to themselves if they continue
I'm sure Mir and Hendo can make money commentating and coaching

Anyone can say what they believe someone should do; it's not an order. Whether it's stupid depends on the advice they offer. if you are getting knocked out repeatedly you should quit or fight lesser fighters, brain injury is serious.

BJ, Fedor, Ken Shamrock, Royce, Bigfoot, Mir, Anderson
