Here are the facts your leaving out
Between DC and OSP it was almost 1.5years. Then over a year again Between OSP and DC2. A other 1.5 yrs for the next fight. Then 3 yrs between Reyes and Gane.
And no he didn't go thru 3 generations. He won the belt at the end of the golden era when all those guys beat the primes out of each other.
He then beat the guys from his unidimensional heavy (aka weak) era which is in rapid decline now.
And your GSP facts are just plain wrong. He fought 2 or more time a year 10x. Some of those were 3 or 4x in a year.
After winning the belt he fought 2x a year or more 5x. He also fought 2x the year he won the belt which is not included in that 5.
Not only that but JBJ has fought 16 top 10 opponents to GSPs 20
Not only was GSP far more active before and during his title run he has a much stronger strength of schedule.
