Fighters who fight plan the best

I’ll say GSP. He fights his opponent where his opponent is weak.
However, he is strong standing and on the floor so he has the luxury of choosing where the fight takes place

GSP, evidently, is the paradigm. DJ, Cruz and TJ are close.

TJ and GSP for sure.
I used to think Cruz until I realized he does the same thing against every fighter. Once you become predictable, you become easier to game plan for, which is what Cody exploited. Granted, Cody's win over Cruz was the result of repeated game plan attempts by TAM until they finally got it right.

I know this like every other thread has propably been done before, but am curious your guys thoughts.

If I had to name the top 4 off the top of my head I’d say:

DC, Cruz, MM and TJ

But I don’t reallt know if that’s fair to some fighters who plan well but don’t have the same extremely high talent level as the above guys

Who would you guys say are the best fight planners?

I think Duane does most of TJ fight planning for him. Dom, Jon, Conor, GSP, and MM are a cut above the rest. I think Cejudo is getting there as well.
