Only guys I've seen in person were DC and Thiago Alves. DC is pretty tiny but looks dense af. Alves is really short, probably 5'7, but is a bag of muscle. You can tell by their weight that there's no way they're as tall as listed. If they were that height and equally jacked, they'd be like 20 lbs heavier.

They don't look as jacked on TV as they do in real life though. The third dimension really brings out their thickness. So, Alves looks like he could be 5'9 - 5'10 on TV weighing what he appears to in 2 dimensions.

Cain doesn't look that big on TV. I saw him in person and he looked like the Incredible Hulk though. One of the thickest guys I've ever seen. That third dimension just made him enormous.

GSP looks to have an inch on Kabib in that picture. He's around 5'10 - I do believe he walked around with lifts at some point because he took a picture with my friend who's 5'9 and looked several inches taller.

This is, clearly, just like the DMV when they ask you for your height. I've always put down 5'10" even though I knew, legitimately, i was 5'8.5" exactly. As I grew older I had them change it to my real height because, you know, I'm older and running out of ***** to give so need to use them sparingly.

Eddie is one of the more obvious cases of lying about his height. Dude looks 5'6 1/2-5'7. Zero chance he's 5'8, let alone 5'9.

Another weird thing is that they lie for some fighters, but not others.

Teh Salt is a legit 6'2, and Reem/ Brock are definitely around 6'3 ish

Overeem is about 6'2 1/2- 3/4s , Brock is 6'2 ( was officially measured barefoot at the Vikings combine when he was 29 years old, 6'2 1/4 was his exact height but that was an afternoon measurement so probably 6'2 evening)

It's very obvious that the UFC exaggerates these guys heights, but you don't realize how much until you actually meet one. I met Khabib a while back at a promo meet and greet for UFC 220. He's a solid 5'9- 5'9 1/2. with sneakers on. Which means:

These dudes seem like giants on TV, but in reality, just average looking people, with above average heart, drive and determination.

DC said recently during a fight telecast that he is 5’9”.
I forget which telecast it was, but you can find it on YouTube. It was last year (2020) some time. But he clearly said, “I’m 5’9”
