They don't look as jacked on TV as they do in real life though. The third dimension really brings out their thickness. So, Alves looks like he could be 5'9 - 5'10 on TV weighing what he appears to in 2 dimensions.Only guys I've seen in person were DC and Thiago Alves. DC is pretty tiny but looks dense af. Alves is really short, probably 5'7, but is a bag of muscle. You can tell by their weight that there's no way they're as tall as listed. If they were that height and equally jacked, they'd be like 20 lbs heavier.
Don’t they use a measuring tape?
He cut height for the Olympics.Romero is 6' on the UFC stats but 5'8 on his Olympic stats
"Carwin 6'5"

Eddie is 5'7" max or a strong 5'6" guy and here he is listed talled than Dos Anjos.
Funny story I saw Eddie in person at some festival where he was signing autographs. There's a couple chicks next to me and they don't know who he is and decided to Google him. The chicks go to me "wait it says he's 5'9"?...theres no way he's 5'9"

He always looked to be at least 6'0, probably because of how TST he is.
Another weird thing is that they lie for some fighters, but not others.
Teh Salt is a legit 6'2, and Reem/ Brock are definitely around 6'3 ish
hahaha, that's the best, "what?" gifs of all-time. gotta love kobe.
DC said recently during a fight telecast that he is 5’9”.It's very obvious that the UFC exaggerates these guys heights, but you don't realize how much until you actually meet one. I met Khabib a while back at a promo meet and greet for UFC 220. He's a solid 5'9- 5'9 1/2. with sneakers on. Which means:

GSP is actually about 5'9

Michael Johnson looks to be about 5'7

Mcgregor is about 5'8View attachment 343925
Most impressive though, is that Cormier's is no more than 5'9 1/2 - 5'10, and he's been dominating both LHWs, and HWs his entire career.

These dudes seem like giants on TV, but in reality, just average looking people, with above average heart, drive and determination.
