Fighters dealing with defeat and coming back.

That’s where the true warrior spirit is at. I would probably never come back after getting brutalized like Kattar did. Bisping comes to mind, he had his share of bad losses, came back and won gold. He’s a douche but also a goddamn warrior.

Kattar's beating by Holloway was legendary. I'm not making light of it at all. But to me (and my observations), it's when someone who's a striker gets dominated and KOd at their own game (striking) that usually results in a "headcase" sort of scenario, where they're afraid to pull the trigger, or engage with commitment. Kattar got utterly dominated, but he didn't get stopped, didn't get put out cold. So he may have been humiliated, but for his next fight (Giga) he didn't have any of that residual fear of getting KOd or suddenly dropped.
