Fedor and Randy are much closer to 5'10 than 6 and 6'2. Met them, so I use Randy as a measuring stick

A lot of People wont like this post though as they usually believe themselves to be taller than they actually are.

Machida seems like he is an accurate 6 or 6'1 though. For comparison :

Yes Machida appears to be about 6 foot and silva is the same height if not shorter

Maybe because everyone else on stage is standing at least 7 feet further away. In grade five you should have learned that closer object appear larger while objects further away appear smaller.

I've been cross referencing photographs from weighins and training as well as analying weigh in videos. Here are my Results :

I mean it's possible (most guys will be around 5'9-5'11 so it makes sense so many top fighters would be around that height) but that is a pretty big difference to what's billed. Vitor, rampage, couture, shogun being 5'10? I'm 5'10 and I see them as being much bigger. I mean all those guys fight close to a lean 225. I'm pretty muscled, bench 275 deadlift 450 at 175, but even I don't have abs and could theoretically fight at FW (lose 10 pounds of fat to get to 10 percent bodyfat at 165 and cut 20 pounds of water to 145). Meanwhile these other 5'10ers are 225 with abs? They have to be at least 5'11 I'd think.

Sorry man Fedor is nowhere near 6. Look at Diaz, thats not one inch.

If u dont see that, look at randy being near 5'9 with Toney. Look at him considerably shorter than Machida. Then look at this photoshoot he and Fedor did, he's always been a bit taller than Fedor. If you don't believe any of these examples with pictures and what someone who has met them is saying then i cant help you

Randy is 5,11.5 and is standing closer to the camera. Fedor looked about 5,11 in all of his fights. He was noticeably taller than Mark Hunt. If it is as you say than Hunt would have been taller.

His posture was all bent against Toney, in the cage he clearly was a lot taller. He is obviously a lot shorter than 6,2 though.

Randy= 5,11, 5,11.5 or so.

Fedor= clearly 5,11. He was taller than Hunt. If he were 5,9 he would have had a much more dramatic height difference against Cro-Cop.

I met Faber who's listed at 5'6, he's no taller than 5'4.

I know for a fact that Dan Henderson isn't 5'9. I've seen him in person many times and he's legitimately and inch shorter than me, so that puts him at 5'11.

The original list is not bad. But from seeing fighters in person I would estimate Roy Nelson is a solid 5'11" about the same as Randy. Cain is at least 6 feet tall, maybe 1/2" taller, his head looks really big in person. Schaub is definitely 6'2" if not 6'3".
