Black people are 1% of Argentinas population. It used to be much higher back in the day and there's probably a larger percentage with African roots but over centuries a minority populations going to decline if they intermarry with the majority. That's just how demography works. I've been to Buenos Aires multiple times there's not many black people.

Uruguay it's the same thing(5% of the population is black) and most of it's soccerers are white looking in the modern era(the OG teams had more black players). The big exception is Zalayetta who was Uruguays big star in the late 90s, early 00s. But he's really the only one. Has there been one for Argentina in the 21st century?

In all seriousness Messi had 3 great games in the KO stages, he's been fantastic. I think France takes this whole thing though, their individual talent is just completely unfair.

Didn't understand, you're asking who had the better World Cup at any point in their careers? If so, Messi with this one. Ronaldo was amazing in 2018 but Portugal was bounced early. He was also great in 2006 but not at the level that Messi is playing right now, so Messi. I think his 2014 WC is incredibly overrated, this one he actually is, so far, the best player of the tournament.

Messi of course. Deep into their 30s if Messi at 35 wasn't better than a nearly fucking 38 year old Ronaldo then there wouldn't even be a debate jesus christ.

Prime for Prime, i prefer Ronaldo. If Messi does win this WC i do concede that he has a stronger case regarding "the GOAT" because greatness isn't just about them as players. It would make a difference in the game of inches and splitting hairs that this debate is.

I think Mbappe is gonna murk their defense in the final though so Ronaldo still the GOAT at the end of this WC <{yearp}>





And Mbappe could have GOAT potential <{titihmm}>

I’m a big fan of Ronaldo and I’ve argued that to death on here. I’d rather have prime Ronaldo on my team than prime Messi, you didn’t have to build a team around him. Messi is better technically than probably anyone. Right now the choice is obvious as one has turned into a precious fucking princess and Messi hasn’t. Huge fan of Ronaldo though, what a player, you can count on one hand the players better than him imo.

And massive fan of Messi obviously.
 
Messi vs Ronaldo is dumb. That's personal preference and both players are fierce competitors. Barca vs RM with both leading the teams was top. Be glad you witnessed it and what we're witnessing now. It'll be over before you know it unfortunately.

The best player in the world is the guy that is right now, the Champions League, Ligue 1 and World Cup top scorer.


Also the guy that scored 40 goals last season and assisted other 20 while Messi was "adapting" or something. If we gonna say X is the best player in the world because of a 3 month period or something that he's more in form then this is meaningless and i guess Salah was the best in the world early last season.
