Will Ferguson capoeras around Nurmy's punches and knocks him out?
Will Nurmagomedov smesh Fergy's face?

I want Ferguson to win, but it's hard to bet against an undefeated guy who just mauls people

I think Furgeson wins, but I don't think it'll ever happen. I think Khabib is going to miss weight a few more times and then move up to 170.

I would have said Khabib without blinking... but after watching Michael Johnson working Khabib on the feet early in R1, I think it is pretty clear there is a roadmap for Khabib, and Tony is perhaps one of the toughest match-ups out there for him...

That being said, I still believe that Khabib will get his hands on Tony at some point, and it will be over once that happens... Tony is tough to drag down, but Khabib is an entirely different animal when it comes to the takedown. As long as the Russian can eat punches (big if), he wins this fight...

I think Nurmag beats everybody in the division with the exception of Ferg.

I just see Ferg as the embodiment of a bad matchup for him- a guy who is ultra-tough to get out of there so you will be banking on him being in the fight for five rounds. And Tony is one of those guys who if you start to fatigue or wilt, he will just amp up the pressure and overwhelm you.

So Khabib will undoubtedly be able to ground him and might have some damn good success keeping him grounded and landing some gnp. But, Tony has a funky style that makes it difficult to really put him in bad spots on the ground. His grappling skills are slick as hell and I don't see him giving Khabib much to work with.

As the fight wears on, the takedowns are harder to come by. In the standup, of course, Tony can be vulnerable, too, but I think he's better and more diverse and throws with more volume than Khabib.

fight goes deep and even if Tony drops rounds 1 and 2, he begins to take over and wins the third and the championship rounds big.

Did you not see what Baby Kevin with a staph infection did to Tony? I was admittedly surprised, but now that I know there is no more questions. Khabib demolishes this man and makes it look easy.

A few more times?He's missed weight twice in the UFC officially with another fight cancelled due to weight cut complications,so I consider that missing weight 3 times.So you think they will allow him to miss weight again multiple times?Well it is the UFC lol but I think he would have to move up missing one more time.People have been forced to move up after two missed weights.

As far as this thread,it's hard to tell because Khabib hasn't fought a top top guy and never fights.Michael Johnson has always had problems with wrestlers or I should say most of his losses are to grapplers.Really tough fight to pick with Tony being so dangerous everywhere but he's been outwrestled by guys like Danny Castillo and showed the worst fight IQ of all time in that fight,which he seems to have fixed up.

Meh they be fighting for second place anyway

Who has Khabib missed against besides Trujillo and the Ferg debacle?

Hard to say. Both have paths to victory. I think Khabib might edge out a decision if he can bring it to the ground every round. Won't be easy.

Tony is a volume striker, more than a power puncher. Chances are Khabib can withstand the power to initiate the clinch game. Once this happens can Tony keep it standing? It will be a tall task, Especially after repeated attempts. If I am betting, I say Khabib gets him down and beats him up, with plenty of action from Tony off his back. In the end I think its a decision win for Khabib. This fight needs to happen either way. It was a huge let down after the first cancellation.

I forgot the Horcher fight was a catchweight,but still someone shouldn't be allowed to miss weight four times.

Yeah, he has missed twice including the Ferg fight, which was a miss in my book even though he never actually made it to the scale. If he misses again then that should be 3 strikes and you are off to WW.

Tony, he is much more creative and crafty in the striking, and on the ground Tony is amazing too, he has lots of crazy subs and sweeps and guard locks. Tony beats both Khabib and Conor in my opinion.

Uhm lose? Isn't that what he did? He literally never came close to finishing Ferguson once but totally he got some takedowns and landed some punches and then he lost like everyone Ferguson faces.

Khabib = Jose Aldo
Ferguson = Conor McGregor

Do the math
