Attila terrified me tbh.

Funnily enough he was Tong Po from Kickboxers brother in real life.

omg Fender was badass. Cyborg was my favorite JCVD movie as a kid. i loved the atmosphere of the movie, the cool costumers and the slick "future" weapons. I can't lie, i've always wanted that multibarrel gun he has and those sweet knife boots! Fender was just nuts and intimidating, and that made for a completely bad ass final fight in the rain.

also the blonde chick's ass was pretty sweet when she runs into the ocean.

The Sandman from Death Warrant was the scariest Van Damme villain for me. Frightened the shit outta me back in the day. Dude reminded me of my Uncle Gary

The part where the little girl has to hold the barb wire to save them was pretty intense.

Yep. Tong Po (Michel Qissi) was Van Damme's childhood friend. He was the guy who gets his knee fucked up by Chong Li in Bloodsport as well as one of the Foreign Legion guys in Lionheart.

That part and stabbing the guy in the head while doing the splits above him are the two things I always think of when that movie is discussed.

Tried watching this movie about a year ago when I bought a Van Damme box set........holy fuck was it awful.

I know people were scared of freddy kruger and jason and mike myers but this dude Fender gave me nightmares when I was a kid, he wasn't wearing a mask and his voice was scary and his look, I couldn't believe he was a real person he had this very deep voice that matched his intense creepy scary face and muscular body. He looked like he would actually kill you and not just some actor.

Also the movie had to deal with an apocalypse scenario it wasnt some fantasy goblin or monster, and that always cheeped me out as a kid I found this movie Cyborg really scary as well as mad max.

This is his voice in the intro dude straight up sinister, when he goes I like this world

I’d love to see this movie get a remake. But honestly, I really love it as is.

Hell yeah he is up there also the bad guy from covrs with stallone, these realistic characters scared me more than fantasy monsters when i was a kid. Monsters never scared me, rapist murderers in human form scared me more.

Dude, seriously how many times do you need to repeat yourself? We get it. You weren't scared by monsters. You were scared by rapists. Fascinating. No one cares.

PS. You're all posers. I own this movie on bluray. Watched it literally this week. The wetlands fight scene is the best part.

Did your uncle touch you?

This was one of my favorite Van Damme movies growing up. I loved the post-apocalyptic setting and the villains. The end fight scene somehow manages to be super epic and completely hilarious at the same time. They literally just punch each other in the face and scream for like 10 minutes lol
