I can understand your argument for keeping officers (and suspects) safe by pairing up officers. But I still think it's more feasible in some departments than others.

that is 100% true. its one of the main reasons i dont trust police. they are explicitly not there to help. the judge dismissed him and told him to fuck off, there is no duty to protect.

Opposite. The cop has the legal right to escalate, and isn' facing prison for the fight. It's cops who always have the advantage. They are also always armed. I get what you are saying about attacking first, but that applies more when the other party isn' expecting it. That's when the Haymaker lands, or the body lock gets sunk in deep enough for a fast td.

I get your point, but in fairness, when ever two people fight, one person will get the upper hand; it could have easily been a male cop that got over powered by another man. Affirmative action and treating sexes equal in every way is absurd tho. I first hand have witnessed how 'diversification' can drive a thriving company in to the ground; giving important obs to people that are simply not qualified and depriving others because they have a penis and the wrong color skin.

These are videos I had watched for fun, but if I went hunting specifically for videos like this, I'd find dozens. Cops getting beat up by suspects is common, and they're often only saved because other cops arrive as backup and the suspect is out-numbered.

What's crazy is all the half-wits who question situations like these, because they only see the world in polars. Let alone a situation like Mike Brown, which was probably very similar to these, only done in the absence of film footage.

A cop can, literally, shoot and kill the person who made the 911 call to which they are responding and not only not be prosecuted but not even be questioned by investigators.

it's not the cost of the vehicle, but it's the cost of the personnel. if you have 2 cops in 1 car, then you will have less area coverage and less call for service.

so cops responding to 911 emergency calls for shot fire/shooting in progress/or any high risk emergency call is not considered as 'ready/willing to die for service'? would you run toward gun shots?

in order for 'ready/willing to die for service' they have to wait until the bad shoot them first, then they can return fire?
