Ahead of UFC 223, Felice Herrig is looking to build on her recent four-fight win streak, while preparing to take on former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz.

A fifth win in a row would keep Herrig as the fighter with the longest active winning streak at strawweight, but she also believes that should put her into title contention.

Obviously, Herrig has to await the outcome of the UFC 223 main event between Rose Namajunas and Joanna Jedrzejczyk, while also keeping an eye on Jessica Andrade, but there’s no denying she enters that title talk conversation with a victory on April 7 in Brooklyn, N.Y.

I wouldnt mind tbh, she has a nice winstreak going and ended the Grasso hype. Gives the champ an easier fight than Gadelha and Andrade so I think they would accept.

A 5 fight win streak capped off with a win over Karolina would give her just about a better claim to a title shot than anyone else except Andrade I suppose.

KK will out pace Herig, though.

Can't argue that.

Felice has been kickin ass in her last few fights.

Winner of Felice/Karolina fights winner of Carla/Claudia. If Rose defeats Joanna, she should probably fight Andrade.

Why not... Something new .. Something different. Not sure she would have a chance at getting the belt. But will look good trying.

If she wins then I’m for it. It’s going to take one hell of a fluke though

I like Karolina a lot but I want Herrig to win here. She's worked very hard to get where she is and she's built up a nice streak. I think Andrade is waiting in the wings though and Herrig might need one more signature win after this to get her that title shot.

Well, 5 wins Streak is enough for a title shot imo.

Herrig is weird. Thought she was going to be a UFC washout for sure after the Vanzant fight. Comes back and looks a lot better than she ever has in her last few, Grasso win is very underrated took out a hype train before it could gain steam.

Doubt she gets by Karolina but who knows

Definitely will be betting on Herrig as the underdog, she'll scrap out a decision

Why not?
4 wins in a roll plus and beating KK is a really good claim for a TS.

I wouldn't mind, she'd have the best win streak in the division at the moment. But they'd probably book her against Jessica Andrade next to determine the #1 contender.

Haha

if this ugly women gets a title shot

it shows how much of a disgrace wmma is
fake fighting
She would be on a five fight win streak chill.
