Like many people here I couldnt help but think the Fedor VS Silva fight woulda looked alot different post TRT... That being said 2 of fedor's 3 losses are now against men who were using a now banned substance, that has obvious serious advantages..

with Arlovski now ranked 7, Hunt ranked 6 and barnett ranked 5, does anyone think Fedor probably shoulda stuck around for some fun fights... Would it of hurt his legacy to sign with the UFC after Rizzo?? I think he woulda lost some fights but I think he would of won some as well.. At the end of the day I think motivation was his biggest downfall, maybe he was scared to fight real comp lulz "rolls eyes" W/E the reasons I think he had alot of entertaining match ups left if he wasnt so concerned with racking up some L's..

there isnt a heavy in the world that I can honestly say Fedor even at this point wouldnt stand a chance against.. If Hunt and Arlovski can make a comeback ur crazy if u think Fedor couldnt of IMO.. Not that one equals the other or anything.

Im sure im gonna catch hate for this thread lol, cause well its a what if Fedor thread and its probably the biggest dead horse in MMA but w/e, would of just really loved to see.. Fedor vs Werdum 2, Fedor vs Hunt 2, Fedor vs Silva 2, Fedor vs Barnett, Fedor vs Big Nog 4, Fedor vs Struve, Fedor vs Overeem... these are all very, very winnable fights and would of been awesome.. And you can bet ur ass even if he lost them all they would be sick fights.

Anyways Respect to the Best Heavyweight thats ever lived and your favourite fighters favourite fighter, Fedor Emelianenko.

Hendo is like 50 years old and a MW and got crushed against other guys much lighter than Fedor while he was on TRT too.Fedor should've won that fight,no excuses.

Same thing with Bigfoot.Cain almost decapitated him.DC too...

When you look at the Heavyweight div right now with Hunt and Nelson being the next contenders i think even Bobb Sapp could be top 10...

The only way to find out is to show up and fight.

I pretty much completely agree with you, bigfoot was just a sad performance.. Dan he got over zealous, but thats still an error in judgement on his behalf.. I dont think Dan could beat Fedor twice and DC and Cain are the two best heavies in the World IMO so ya I agree but anyone besides them and its a good fight I think even JDS.

Not with Werdum and Bigfoot still in the picture.

without TRT bigfoot is no longer in the picture... its undeniable that he moved different against Fedor then he did against Arlovski.. He was plotting forward with his hands super high as if he knew he couldnt take a shot, and he was waiting on arloski and he is slow in general. Against Fedor he was was swinging in the pocket not waiting and actually used to decent movement for a man that big... He either had the worst game plan ever against a fighter he already beat, or he lost that pep in his step for.. some reaon:rolleyes:

He probably would be.

I'd take Cain, JDS, Werdum over him no doubt.

But Stipe, Browne, Hunt he could beat and the way Barnett, Big Foot, Reem have looked I think he'd crush them.

So yeah probably would be in that 4-6 range right now.

I'd still like to see him come back, dont even care if he is past his prime. Who wouldnt love to see Cain/Fedor or Fedor/JDS or rematch with WErdum or see him knock out Reem or Big Foot.

thats pretty much how i feel 4-6 range seems about right to me.. Win or loose prime or not they would be great fights

We talking prime Fedor or soon-to-be 38 years old Fedor? Because I remember Fedor getting his submitted in 2010 and then getting his ass handed to him in 2011, and he sure as fuck hasn't gotten any younger since then. 38 year old Fedor isn't top 5 by any stretch of the imagination. I'd take Cain, JDS, Werdum, Browne, DC, Miocic... maybe even Nelson, over him.

While that is true, that is really one of those scenarios that could happen to anyone in MMA IMO. I would pick Cain 10/10 times against hendo, and you saw what happened with DC but I still think if they had him stunned and went for the kill like Fedor did, Hendo could still land a shot and knock anyone out.

I think that says more about how shallow HW is as a division than it speaks to how good Fedor is...

You need ONE good fight and you are in the top ten.

lol this is also true

I think it's quite possible and would have trouble, but could def but the three he lost to. I'd love him in some random matchups.

Rothwell vs fedor

Nelson vs fedor

Dos santos vs fedor

He wasn't into it anymore. I don't wanna see somebody who's not into it keep doing it.
