I use to love the guy but lately he's been going downhill. The fact that the UFC is him for the he money generation prove he's gone. He should retire with dignity rather than end up like a Brazilian.

I'm 5 beers into a 6-pack and my balls feel kind of mushy. Should I be worried?

i dont think theres a single ufc heavyweight who wouldnt have ended that fight with his first punch

No, no he wouldnt. Evem Bork would beat him at this point.

I think Fedor needs to retire...he has lost his attributes.

Having said that, Fedor's boxing is so bad now that his kickboxing/muaythai is actually good in comparison.

Either way Fedor is the GOAT.

Just because he is past it doesn't mean that you shouldn't be a fan. It was an entertaining fight today but it is clear that he is no longer elite.

Still a fan and he had an awesome career but he would not fare well in the UFC in 2016. Back in the day he would have been great though. No one stays on top forever.

Definitely retire. The longer he holds on the worse his legacy get because he just looks terrible. Werdum would beat him again, but even the new HWs out there would beat him over 70% of the time, just not top tier anymore.

I just watched the fight and Fedor didnt look THAT bad. Dude got pretty much KO'd in the first (because Fabio let him punch himself out and capitalized-good on him)and came back like a warrior. I dont know why hes so in love with his KO punch power. He could have just kicked the shit out of Fabios legs anytime he wanted. He could have tried to mix it up with TD's. He has so many tools that he just doesnt use anymore.

He kept throwing hooks when Fabio was covering his head instead of straight punches like Chuck vs.Tito. He could have destroyed his body with that hand position.I dont know man. I saw the threads and thought he must have been KO'd and looked like an idiot..but it went to a decision and Fedor came back. Id still like to see him in the UFC. Somebody need to get him to use his skill set because he hes abandoned a lot of it IMO.

Fedor felt (I think they edited the skateboard out) and almost got KO'd. Of course, it was very difficult to come back after that. Herb Dean definitely stopped the Hendo fight too soon.

But yes, today Fedor is very unlikely would be a top-5 fighter. But I would bet money he lasts longer against Stipe than Werdum.

Seeing as he is/was close to sign with the UFC, I think he wanted to come into the UFC with a big KO win. Something tells me he's never seen a Maldonado fight before and underestimated his hands and chin.

No shame in getting old just think of how many wars he has been in in Combat Sambo + MMA fighting 5-10 times a year being a small heavyweight fighting in a reflex and strength based style.
Yeah it has been definitely proven he would trade wins losses / not be able to compete in the UFC in 2016 and he should stay retired because he is obviously like Bas Rutten just wear and tear / age catching up to him.

Fedor never wanted in the ufc. He has been exposed and will just be further exposed if he came to the ufc.
