We had hardcore Fedor freaks on here saying rounds 2 and 3 were 10-8s for Fedor as well.
 
however he did show alot of heart in the fight,i just allready knew he had such heart,and should have crushed murdernado

What an embarrassing fight for Fedor. I remained a Fedor nuthugger even after the losses to Werdum, Bigfoot, and Hendo. But for fuck's sake, he handpicked Maldonado, and the latter ended up beating the hell out of him. Fedor is a legendary fighter, but he's not GOAT.

It wasn't overturned because the decision was horrible, it was overturned because it was unethical for Fedor to handpick the officials and judges.
 
Fedor is one of my all-time favorites, but I knew going in this was a really bad idea. Maldonado is a tough guy, even if not a highly skilled fighter. Fedor has been done for years and his game hasn't evolved in a decade. I wish he would retire. But the people who judge his career on the last 5 years are beyond ridiculous. It's like pretending Joe Louis or Roy Jones Jr. were always bums because they couldn't take a shot at the end of their careers.

And I'm fine with that decision getting overturned. He showed a willingness to fight on through anything, but he got completely wrecked in that 1st round.

Hard to believe those news, when the wikipedia page still shows the fight as a win for Fedor.

Also: Fedor should take a new fight ASAP, then get to the UFC.

he is fucking old and way passed his prime now. yeah you're a nuthugger, you're not a fan. you judge a guy on the twilight of his career to call him not GOAT.
