Fedor vs Jaideep biggest mismatch of ALL time ?

Seriously, can anyone think of a bigger one?

I guess you could argue maybe Randy Couture vs James Tony but Tony was actually a championship
boxer, Jaiden never won K-1.

Royce vs Akeebono maybe because Royce was champion but Akeebone had a few more fights by then and was also top level champion in his own sport.

Cro Cop vs Eddie Sanchez or Dos Caras comes to mind also but Sanchez was in UFC at time (I think) and Cro Cop was fairly new when fought Dos.

Didn't Cro cop look shit against Sanchez?

Cc vs DC was a huge mismatch, dude was intentionally put in there to get HK.

Not even the biggest of Fedors career. I can go into the weekend mma thread and find more I am sure.

We live in a hyperbolic era where everything is either the best or worst ever.

Not even close, he was on a 7 fight win streak before Fedor and his dada was a legend.

Jaideep is like the only Indian to fight in K-1 and he beat Kharitonov, who's a better opponent than all of Zulu's... so that makes him sort of a legend lol. Also, Zulu fell down with a greater impact than Jaideep against Fedor, that's also a plus.

But Fedor fought in a lot of mismatches and freakshows.

Nah.

It's Fedor. 90% of his fights were mismatches in his favor.

Imediatley thought of Takada and Rickson and Travis Fulton vs the dude he chokeslammed

Kind of. It was a mismatch cuz Sanchez was nobody and CC was a Champ.

Cro Cop was actually offered title shot with Couture right away actually. He decided he wanted a few "tune up" fight in the Octagon instead. Prolly figured he'd feast on a few cans, make $$$, build his name and had less to risk.

As usual in CC's career underestimating opponents cost him.

It was a bad idea @ his age. He'd have come across to US audiences in a whole different way if he took on Couture first and it'd be a Win/Win situation.
He mite have even won and been title holder for a bit.

Wish he took the randy fight before gonzaga... Even if he lost it wouldn't of affected his career like the gonzaga Ko did.

Just because you asked

Alexy Ignashov vs Doctor Death

0-0 washed up barely moving 40 something year old wrestler vs a K-1 Killer in his prime

I think he was shot anyways but it would have been a better way to go out in front of a new fanbase, fighting the champ or losing the title later. Instead it tarnished his image to a whole new fanbase.

I remember hyping him up to all my friends who didn't watch MMA and it was sad to watch. They all made fun of me and beat me up for it and then stopped talking to me.

Sounded like you needed new friends anyway.

They told me that because he lost unlike I said, I deserved to get beat and they jumped me.

I haven't told anybody about a fighter since.

Worse than when that female pro MMA fighter faced a random untrained soccer mom. Absolute fucking disgrace and all involved should be ASHAMED.
