Got smacked and dropped. Withstood/was saved through the couple minutes of GNP then dominated rounds 2 and 3 as he should have round 1 if he wasn’t so careless.

I've watched it over and over. Here's what I get out of it:
When Chael clinches, Fedor postures up, grabs the whizzer, and pulls up hard to load Chael up.
Chael kicks out his right knee to block Fedors legs and throw, but Fedor avoids the knee, and posts hard on his left leg.
Then Fedor reaches through with his left hand, picks Chael's left leg, and uses Chael's momentum (and his own) to throw the both of them ass over tea kettle, all while hooking Chael's right knee with his own right knee, to secure the half guard.
Fedor releases the wizzer as they land, posts out with his right hand so Chael can't re-roll, and that's all she wrote.
