Actually it was a bad translation, he actually said he's closer to never signing with the UFC.
 
Watch, he says this, beats Maldonado, then signs a new contract with Rizin to fight Zulu again.

Fedor says this shit every time to get the fans talking then he goes and signs somewhere else.

Good for him to get paid but stop talking about the UFC if you aren't ever going to make that walk.
 
I want to add that Fedor looked very rejuvenated in this interview - he was smiling, laughing and joking.
He looked like the Fedor we know from PRIDE.

Yeah I think it might be too late for him but I also thought the same for Arlovski and look how well he is doing. I am just getting tired of someone claiming he is close to signing and never doing so.
 
Until Rizin matches the UFC contract.

But seriously, why should he risk getting brain damage from fighting elites when he can make money fighting scrubs. He has nothing to prove.
