How many fights would have different results if fighters were given the same chance ? Sure some might die, but others would have turned things around

I missed a few fights but in general the refs for the event were a bit slow to stop a fight by T/KO. Also if you ask most refs they will probably say that they give more chances to certain fighters to recover if they have shown the ability to do so before (idr which for sure but either Big John or Herb, maybe both, said they do this)
