Fedor fans or Anderson fans who is more in denial?

I have seen Fedor fans (which is what i am) some of them argue that ´prime´Fedor would destroy any HW now. Brock, mir, couture, these make sense who he would own those guys. Overeem if he hit his chin with a bomb, but other than that werdum, jds, cain, stipe, and yes overeem are just too deadly and big and destructive and good to stop fedor takedowns and if taken down can get up these guys are vastly superior to mark coleman, lindland, randleman, on the ground and much stronger and bigger. And they are all athletic and explosive except werdum and werdum would submit fedor.


Anderson fans i have seen say that ´prime anderson´would destroy everybody at MW today and maybe even win the LHW belt. LOL. Anderson was submitted 2x in his prime by cans, and owned in a decision, then he could not finish leittes and maia because they did not play into his game. When he finally fought an elite well rounded and heavy handed, solid chin, wrestler with gas tank and submission defense and decent striking who can push the pace (weidman) he got owned 2x. Imagine what Romero would do to Anderson? or a striker and submission expert like mousasi? or jacare?

Silva was the best MW of his time, Fedor was the best HW of his time and fight careers are finite. these are all facts.

another fact is you cannot predict fight results using what is known as "MMA Math." just because A beat B and B beat C does not mean that A can beat C.

third, the term GOAT is retarded. in a sport where the weight varies from 125 to 265 there are just too many weight classes and too much history(even though the UFC is fairly young) to classify any single fighter as a GOAT. if Jon Jones didnt fuck up 100 times and continued his winning streak, maybe he could be called GOAT.
