What would have happened if Fedor and Satoshi fought a grappling match (no MMA) in 2008, Fedor using sport sambo (only throws and joint locks) and Satoshi using judo (throws, pins, elbow locks and chokes)?
Fedor is 10 years older than Ishii; but they are almost the same height and weight.

Fedor would have won for me. Naoya Ogawa was an Olympic Silver medalist Judoka and Fedor reversed his throw and arm barred him no problem.

Yes, but MMA is a different story.
Surely it would have happened the same thing with my match; but outside the ring or the cage, Ishii with a judogi and Fedor with sambo gi; no striking, Fedor using only sport sambo (throws, pins and joint locks) and Ishii using only judo (throws, elbow locks, pins and chokes) it would have been very different.
