Fedor beats lesnar, couture, mir, but losses to JDS, Cain, Stipe, Werdum, overeem?

True. Many mma fans claimed that Fedor was not in his prime when he lost to werdum

based on what? he is not 6'2 like he claims. can he really slam someone like hearth herring around like brock and fedor did? Couture is so overrated dude lost to Valetijin overeem for god sakes!
He man-handled guys 50+ lbs bigger than him, like Tim Slyvia. Also was doing very well in the clinch vs Brock when he was in his mid 40s, completely undersized.

Fedor lost to Big Foot.. Everyone has dumb losses. Don't be an idiot.

If you even remotely think Fedor was in his prime when he lost to Werdum it would not be possible or logical to try and have a real discussion with you

And for the record I'm not saying prime Fedor beats Werdum every time or anything. But lol, no, absolutely no, that was not prime Fedor
31-1, hadn't lost in ten plus years. Obviously out of his prime. People only started saying he was out of his prime after Werdum tapped him. Coping mechanism.

Anyone else agree? Prime Fedor was a good fighter but he was a fat blown up LHW or could of been shredded MW.

i think fedor easily beats couture who he is stronger than and heavier and better all around.
I think fedor easily beats brock who is scared to get hit and mentally weak and inferior striking and jiu jitsu game
i think fedor cracks mir chin and mir has no deadly takedowns.

but jds knocks out fedor, cain, tkos fedor from ground and pound, stipe tko fedor, werdum submits or UD fedor, overeem KO fedor.
Prime Fedor in a ring?
I think he beats Mir, Couture, Cain, Werdum, and Reem with relative ease. JDS, Lesnar would be tough but doable, and Stipe may beat him.

Thank everything. I was starting to think this whole place had lost their minds. People actually act like the Fedor we have seen lose or get battered is the same as prime Fedor

wait brock is scared to get hit and folds easily mentally. So brock is harder to beat than JDS or Reem or Werdum? WTF

I think he beats Reem and likely JDS

Fedor would take JDS down repeatedly.

Weedum gets decisioned.

Stipe probably gets dropped and pounded out

Overeem gets starched cold

Cain is a fascinating stylistical matchup

DC and Cain are the most intriguing matches for Fedor, given that styles make fights.

I believe that Current Reem beats Current Fedor, but Prime Fedor beats any Reem any day, ever.

Stipe beats current and prime Fedor, sorry. I know nobody wants to think so, but I think he does. Unlike Brett Rogers, he gets it done. Unlike the few others who've come close but no cigar, Stipe gets it done. That's what stipe does. Gets it done.

Prime Motivated Werdum vs Prime Fedor, I believe, yields one for Werdum by submission.

Fedor's big advantage was always his Bobby Fischer Fight IQ and I believe he was about 10 years ahead of the game. Fast forward 12 years, and the most dangerous fighters are now in their primes at, or even a notch ahead, of where Fedor was. That said, where Fedor was by comparison is no easy measure because Fedor fought a murderer's row up front before getting a lot of gimme fights. It's sad to see him taking fights and getting creamed. Whatever makes him happy and fulfills him, I suppose.

Prime Fedor would....

beat Randy, Mir and Werdum.

lose to prime Cain, JDS and horsemeat peak 09ish Reem but would probably beat todays middle aged USADA versions or Pride era Reem.

Stipe and Brock are 50/50.

They actually did so well before the result itself though and indeed so did his own camp.

Honestly though I tend to think even the declined Fedor of Strikeforce would have had a very good chance of beating Overeem, he still hit incredible hard and If he catchs Reems chin even once its probably over.
