Wish Fedor would work on his BJJ with brazilian, and not put more attention to his already great striking with Dutch

Fedor training in a basketball court, AKA could learn a thing or two from this guy.

He's really taking the threat of Satish Jha or Dada 5000 seriously

Here is his favorite new machine

I like Fedor, I really do, but this is what he's been reduced to. I don't believe for a second that he's taking "warm up fights", he's just majorly hitting the recycle facility and cashing in on the high price for scrap aluminum.

I guess he owes loads of taxes and needs the money, for the people he is fighting he doesn't really need a camp.

Well looks like he's finally updated his condition, training methods and hopefully diet too. But is still training with a team of amateurs. Which is ridiculous if you look@ places like AKA that are filled with high level pros helping each other out.

And, as usual, they're all smaller and lighter.

Nah, high-level Sambo may not win but can definately neutralize BJJ and the BJJ in MMA is usually simple and can be avoided. Werdum's a rare elite practitioner and even then if Fedor were just a bit more careful he could have avoided it.

He's got good TDD, great Judo, great in clinch, and mostly great positional control. The rest is just being careful and watching out for your limbs... so I think he's going about it the right way if he just had a better team.

i think high level sambo, before the influx of Russian guys into UFC, was thought to be not really as good as BJJs, and I still don't think it's that great from the bottom against BJJ high level guys.. with Fedor, it's really hard to say he's just Sambo guy, like he might even himself like to consider himself, because when you come close to making the olympic team in Judo for Russia, you are pretty frigging good. It'd be like Randy Couture, well as a matter of fact, Randy was the alternate, Fedor must be at that level for Judo...

As far as I know Jon Olav Einemo is still training in Holland from time to time. Would be a good sparringpartner.

I hope they finally settle the score and make Fedor vs Bobbo Sappu happen. The most highly anticipated event in MMA history!

Smokescreen. Shows you training with amateurs. Actually training with elite warriors.
