Featherweight might actually be exciting after this fight.

After this stupid rematch that nobody asked for; the featherweight title picture starts to look a lot better, even if Volk wins and sticks around. There’s a few reasons for this, all of them being compelling fighters.

If Arman moves down to challenge for the title, we currently have like 6 interesting contenders vying for the title that could actually fight for it.

Anyway this is a pretty good title picture compared to what we’ve had lately. I hope Volk loses or retires because I just want a full refresh for featherweight but I’m excited if any of these 6 guys gets the next shot.

Arman has been the legit number 1 contender at '55 for over a fckn year now. He isn't getting a title shot if he goes to '45. Plus Evloev deserves his title shot & right behind him is Lerone Murphy. '45 has contenders lined up hence the reasoning behind many ppl not excited for Volk/Lopes because it makes no sense at this point in time.
