Despite MMA being more mainstream, the sponsors available to lower level stars remain the likes of supplement companies and horrible MMA clothing firms like Fear the Fighter. Not surprised that they would be shit to work with.

It would seem to make more sense to pay the fighters rather than pay a lawyer to threaten fighters (even if the "threat" is very weak).
