Yeah I don't know what they are thinking with this. I equate it to Trump's "but but but BILL CLINTON!" defense when all the groping/molesting allegations came out. Extremely weak defense and screams of "GUILTY".

IMO, from a strategy standpoint they should have just stuck with "they came to the right conclusion last time that nothing was done illegally and we're confident of the same this time". And then moved on and not give it any attention.

If social media sites don't disclose their paid allegiances, all while maintaining a false pretense of objectivity, then that social media site has defrauded their customers.
