FBI reopens Clinton investigation as new emails found PART 3

I've been of the opinion that if Trump wins, he was just going to allow Hillary and all her cohorts ride off into the sunset in defeat, but not press charges upon anything the FBI has on her.

But, after recent developments, if Trump does win he may have no choice than to release the hounds upon her.

If the re-opening of the FBI investigation is closed with no presses charged, Trump's winning of the election will be viewed as illegitimate and a trick upon the American voters.

Even after the election, either way, this is still going to be very interesting.

I think they probably don't want an economic policy that is going to explode the deficit, a social policy that doesn't involve putting Muslims on a register, or a policing policy that involves the introduction of (unconstitutional) stop and frisk nationwide.

It's almost like they don't want America to be great again..

:(

I wouldn't worry about any of that happening cause there is no way Trump gets anything past. Like two politicians like that guy the rest hate him.

Except for the video of Biden putting the moves on 14 year old girls

Did somebody say...

I have to admit to a certain morbid fascination. It's like watching the biggest car crash in the world...

thats my analogy its like watching a train wreck, I can't turn away

my wife doesn't really get my obsession with it, I say that she read a bio about Huma and I pointed her to as soon as this broke, "she's like why isn't that the story?"

I watched Weiner's showtime documentary last night. Man, I know they'll make an amazing movie about this election one day (especially if things escalate for Hillary) but you couldn't write a better foil than that buffoon.

I generally like to keep things light and have had a lot of fun but honest to god i'm ready for a shower
so much of this shit makes me uncomfortable but I feel obligated to watch

Sure, but few people would claim Walsh's charges weren't political. Why else throw the document relating to Bush in there?

The indictment in that case was dropped. We don't know how this will turn out. If it turns out as nothing then Comey is done but if this is huge then Comey will look like a steadfast hero that stuck to his principles. Its hard to say how this ends because it isn't just about some e-mails anymore. This is about a long list of things that smell of corruption.

I agree. Trump is the only candidate who has the balls to say what needs to be said.

You have kids right Rip'? Are they of draft age? Will they become of draft age during a Trump Presidency?

"I love War!"
- Donald Trump.

@panamaican haven't seen you post on this. I know you kind of work in this industry and was wondering what your take is on all this.

Loretta Lynch is becoming more and more implicated in whatever all this means. The DOJ has tried to protect Hillary every inch of the way and still is. They will destroy Comey if possible.

What's disgusting is how blatantly obvious it all is.

The gall to meet with Bill Clinton on that plane, and then claim it was completely irrelevant to Hillary's case. Trying to block the info being released on this new investigation.

The only reason we're here right now is because Comey had enough, and chose to do the right thing.

Yea I don't know why he said something like this knowing it would effect the election. The only things that make sense is that 1. he was pressured by his associates or 2. the emails are damaging and by releasing the info now it will sort of keep the FBI in the clear when they indict her. Otherwise if she wins the election and then they say something it will make them look like they hid it until Clinton got elected president. Maybe a combination of the two.

Yeah, there's the narrative that paints Comey's actions as the inevitable result of his earlier, surprisingly public, announcements about the investigation.
I can't say I find it all that convincing though. An FBI director that can't handle the media?

Sounds more like his coworkers had enough and forced his hand. If something really does come out on all of this I hope these agents step out and let America thank them for their efforts.

Yeah we're shacked to this shit trolley until the bitter end
I was finishing up my degree in pol sci when they were 'investigating' Billy for fucking an intern and I became completely disillusioned with our govt and justice system.

What is going on now makes that look like a Goddamn episode of the Brady Bunch.

True, but in the end, he's still the guy that has to choose to go public. How easy would it have been for him to stay quiet, under assurances from Lynch that everything would be okay as long as he played ball? He was obviously pressured into it internally, but at least he made the right choice in the end. If he stays quiet and sits on it, it doesn't really matter how many FBI agents resign afterwords. Hillary is in the White House and this story gets squashed.
