Favourite sword?

If you have any good sources please let me know.

I generally buy from an online auction site (the-saleroom.com) it mostly covers items for sale at British auction houses though big European sales do feature as well , The Lanes Armoury in Brighton is good but expensive and I'm not to far from Battlesbridge antique centre which has a pretty decent sword/militaria shop .

@esotamoc If you're interested in maybe a replica instead of an antique, https://www.kultofathena.com/ is a great site with a huge catalogue of weapons and armors. They also have their own really neat testing ,and informative, vids on the products they sell.

This is a vid on the Khopesh I have. Though it's probably not what you're looking for, it's a good look on the kind of vids they have. They have all kinds of swords that differ in quality and accuracy, so if you see something you might like, I'd suggest still looking at the reviews because some brands are known to deliver some dodgy products. But it obviously all depends on what you're planning to do with it and what you're looking for in general.

I Don't really have a favourite, but One of my wife's brothers has One that looks like this. I've only seen it once, but it looked pretty cool. He has a replica, that is Nice and shiny, but These were Apparently used in combat by the Kazakhs and other central Asians in 16-19th Century.

I Asked my wife for some info, but she doesn't give a fuck about it. She gave me a Fedor shrug and said it's a sword. Well, no shit, I Can see that myself. <45>

I love some of the more unique rapiers. Some Sabre styles, the Indian Talwar looks pretty (the blades are just scimitar blades) Flameberg always looked badass.

Here is a great site that sells just about every style of swords, it’s where I get of my stuff from.

Very nice!! I have a Talwar that looks pretty much like this. Bit longer blade, but less shiny.

It's a ceremonial blade, so it's not the least bit sharp, but it's from 1890 and it still looks pretty rad.

Gladius, straight symbol of roman badassery.
This shit looks ultimate example of pragmatic and brutal, just like the men using it. Love how the pommel pack hell of a punch too, fit the style

Spada da lato, i think apex of western/world fencing and duelling when it still was a serious thing more than a sport

Ultima weapon. Best sword. Or the apocalypse with triple AP growth. Maybe the rainbow blade which gives 4x critical strike. Maybe the masamune gives 2x damage to magic users. Oh yeah!

The apocalypse was clutch to master knights of the round.

Big fan of the Longsword. Think what Geralt uses in The Witcher video game series or Jon Snow's sword in GoT. Two or one handed weapon, makes a good cutter and can stab with it.

Forging a sword is on my list of things to try soon.

Been forging a bunch of knives lately and am feeling ready to take the leap and try a short sword or something soon.
