Honestly never really seen his films, guess I'm not on the level of brilliance to enjoy them but I have seen Eraserhead and will check out a few here.
You forgot a major oneHonestly never really seen his films, guess I'm not on the level of brilliance to enjoy them but I have seen Eraserhead and will check out a few here.
You pretty much have to research all of his stuff to "get" itI'll save you a trip to IMDb. Blue Velvet. Lynch movies aren't for everyone. Don't try and "get" it, don't obsess over every detail and figuring out every charter and motive.

I don't agree. I think my take away may and probably is different then yours. I get pretty deep into movies I like and sometimes reading fan theories and IMDb trivia detracts from the movie. Also if your not a fan it's like most cult movies if you go in expecting to be blown away or expecting to be wowed the movie rarely meets expectationsYou pretty much have to research all of his stuff to "get" it
2 of my favorite move contributors, Lynch and Hurt, how can you go wrong. And Mel BrooksI believe The Elephant Man is a must view for any/every child age 10-13. I felt that way in the 80s growing up and I think it is just as if not more important today.
Admittedly it is not a classic Lynch style and many other directors could have pulled it off, Twin Peaks the original 2 seasons would be my choice but no way Fire Walk With Me would be more of a fav than Elephant Man
