I agree Jack can get snarky, but I don't think that reflects his intelligence. Sometimes I get frustrated when I'm implying something and people can't read between the lines, and the conversation grinds to a halt. I think Jack suffers from that.

I meant the other way around- that when someone fails to read between the lines, he gets frustrated.

Anyway, like I said, I've had my problems with him, and I've called him out, and I think he's cool. Hopefully the feeling is mutual, but I think those of us who are on here too much start to make these things bigger than they should be.

I'll find myself arguing some inane point like someone just insulted my mother. Having the internet at all times has ruined me.

Also, I say say things sometimes that I mean in abstact that people take as personally directed at them. Just thought I should point that out. I can dislike someone's political opinions and not dislike them as people. I dislike far left Liberal ideology while recognizing that most far Left Liberals are themselves good and decent people who have genuine good will towards other people. I just think that good will is being manipulated by politicians.

Good post man I feel the same way. Some of my closest friends are staunch Republicans and we can argue politics over a beer and never get pissed off.

It's a good way to approach it but lots of people can't do it. People lose their shit in these threads.

I'm the same way. Being in the military you meet people of every political affiliation. It comes with the territory. I probably come off as far more conservative on this board than I really am.

Tbh I didn't really read the thread, I just saw some fighters names being mentioned. I'll try to be more of a dick next time but I can't think of anything else that people don't like about you, besides what I said.
