No mention of Danny Hodge one of the greatest college wrestlers ever and a golden gloves boxing champion with insane grip strength. There are many wrestlers in shoot interviews talking about anytime someone tested Danny they regretted it immediately.

Harley Race is another good tough guy. Seems if Harley was mad at you you might be in serious trouble.

Looking back at the list of choices. It's a great list.

I worked at this strip club in Texas long ago. Mark Henry walked in wearing a vest with no shirt underneath. That was a dress code violation. Seemed like slow motion but I was thinking how I would approach him. He had a giant smile on his face and I didn't think I could wipe it off with my best sucker punch. Luckily my cokehead GM "Marked-out" and hugged Mark Henry absolving me from having to do my job and become hospitalized. Trust me, calling him a gorilla is way more accurate than racist.
i also did security. we floated and one club i worked at in Nashville, John Runyan and Benji Olsen came in. They were offensive linemen for the Tennessee Titans during their glory years. I just remember praying they behaved. I was 6'2 245 and i was tiny compared to them. fortunately they got drunk but were ok, so i didn't have to show them what's up

I know how you feel. I was glad I didn't have to get into it with Mark Henry. Two other guys I am glad I didn't have a problem with were Tank Abbott and former NHL Enforcer Marty McSorley. My preferred opponents were always feisty drunks who could barely stand up who I outweighed by 80 lbs. That definitely works for me, Brother.

When i first seen Harley Race, it was when he was managing Vader. He was old and out of shape by then but his gravelly voice scared me. It was like, Vader had to listen to him because of that voice.

I feel ya, trying to control that type of person is near impossible. I tried to throw out a Former Oregon Duck starting linebacker without sucker punching him, near impossible for our Crew.
But looking back on those situations, nfl lineman types might be hard to control, but for the most part that type of guy isnt gonna come back with 20 friends to stab you, so its relatively safe. Im more worried about some illegal stabbing me than a celebrity overpowering me and perhaps punching me.

I have recently been inundated with John Nord (the Berserker) shorts from a shoot interview. He is legit insane. He wants the smoke from Haku and I want to see it for some reason.

I would add Paul Orndorf on there. He apparently punked Vader with flip flops on. Pretty funny if true.

What the fuck? I mean, he's not your typical enforcer or goon-type but....

No Cactus Jack or Mick Foley? Razor Ramon or Diesel probably deserve noms.

And from what I've read about Bob Backlund, he was the real deal. No one fucked with him at all outside of the show. I stopped watching wrestling in the 80's, but I have watched and read autobiographies on some of the older guys and on the early days of wrestling and it was basically the wild west.

Mick Foley is a tough SOB but a different tough. His tough was could take an insane amount of damage and somehow walk away. I have never heard a Foley fight story.

Hall killed a guy irl.
Nash was a bouncer so I'm sure he could handle himself.

Bob Backlund was no joke. He wrestled Hulk Hogan before Hulkamania and 20 minutes into the match Backlund deadlifted the 300lb Hogan off the ground it was incredible.
Yeah and Stan Hanson said to warm up for a match Backlund would do step ups for an hour man was the most proven well oiled machine in professional wrestling.
