I believe Royce smothered someone with his Gi in an early UFC. I'm not ashamed to say that a fat guy tapped me in the same fashion when I was a white belt. A face full of sweaty gi is kinda like being water boarded.

Royce didn't smother anyone. Art Jimmerson tapped to mount if that's what you're thinking of. Yarborough is the OG smotherer.

Ezekial without gi was just insane. I dont think it can be compared with anything else.

Needs more Genki Sudo:

Genki Sudo was a signature move. Even his moving inside the ring/cage. Maybe my all time favorite fighter that never won a belt except Yamamoto's UFC Belt in a bet.

EDIT: Apologies for incorrectly using the term "signature move." I'm looking for moves that we had never seen in MMA, regardless of whether they were named or repeated.

Lol someone mentioned the dolly smash, and I considered it briefly. I tended this post like a farmer tends the field. I listened to my sherbros’ suggestions and added them to the poll as the thread grew. WE did this together.
