The Marcus Brimmage KO was the one that made me know he was for real. Sucks the way the money changed him, he was one of my favorite fighters before he became obsessed with being rich. He totally lost the hunger and got more drawn to being a celebrity. Sucks because he had so much talent and drive back in the day

In terms of skill, fighting ability etc. it's got to be him vs Alvarez.
That was an absolute master class, Eddie had never been hit so cleanly so often like that in a fight. Conor's striking in that fight was world class.

But in terms let's say emotion or joy, probably Mendes as well. That was the fight Conor showed the most emotion to, it was the defining point in his career because he had finally made it. He had tasted UFC gold for the first time and all that hard work had paid of. The fight was back and forth briefly and we got to see Conor's ground game but ultimately it was another great finish.

People forget that Conor was considered an unstoppable monster before the fight and looked pretty jacked weighing in at 168.

I don't think there was ever a broad consensus that McGregor was an unstoppable monster. Every fight a lot of people were pretty damn sure he'd lose. People thought Mendes would outwrestle him. An awfully large section of Sherdog thought Aldo would beat him. A lot of people thought RDA was a terrible match up for him. I mean sure, he had his share of fans who talked about him like a 2001 Chuck Norris joke, but everyone else considered him a product of hype who would be exposed against whoever he was facing next. This is a case where the truth was certainly in the middle.

lol don't disrespect Mo Farah by comparing him to Conor. He was more stumbling than running. Farrah would have never been hit by Diaz all night. That cardio! If he was a basketball player the song would be called "Mo Farah" and not "Mo Bamba"

The Mendes fight was cool. He dominated on the feet, got dominated on the ground then got up and finished him. Really the first time we saw him overcome adversity.
