In the Wonderboy vs Woodley vein. What are some slow paced, tactical fights that you actually enjoyed?

Example: JDS vs Overeem, the tension was super high for the whole fight even with few strikes being thrown.

fisher spassky for the newcomers

karpov vs kasparov for the hardcores

i still like karpov anyways

fuck kasparov

I like fights. If I ever want to watch a staring contest, I'll YouTube that.

I'd consider watching a championship level chessmatch than watch woodley v Thompson 2 again.

Aldo vs. McGregor in a blitz match.

didnt mind kramnik kasparov either - berlin wall is no joke - and kasparov is like the jon jones of mma, undoubtedly great and creative, but with a personality where everyone wanted to see him fall

alekhine / capablanca as well - alekhine was a drunk and too poor to play too much but had the natural calculating ability to beat anyone - he had the equivalent of a 'gofundme' to get the match on - and won

Leonard Garcia/Korean Zombie I

Anytime Diego "the chess grandmaster" Sanchez is fighting.

boring fight where nothing happen= chess match to sherdoggers

wasn't too slow-paced, but dillashaw / cruz was fun to watch. also enjoyed maia / shields, practically the definition of a chess match between two masters.

You want to see a chess match? Go watch Carlos Newton vs Sakuraba.

Sakuraba vs Newton

Edit : dammit, a few seconds late.
