Favorite Gracie Clan Member?

The Gracies are unquestionably the most famous family in MMA history in addition to being synonymous with BJJ. A lot of people feel that the promotions who have worked with them have catered too much to them (special rules in PRIDE, the UFC pretty much being started as a showcase for Brazilian/Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, Royce coming out of retirement to fight Matt Hughes in a PPV main event, etc.) and that none of the family has done much of significance since MMA fighters started to gain awareness of BJJ/submissions, but there's no question that the family's contributions to mixed martial arts are immeasurable in their magnitude.

With all that said, who was/is your favorite Gracie? It's Renzo for me. He was the first Gracie to show any aptitude for striking and was also very fast and athletic. He also had several very good fights, particularly in PRIDE and Rings.

I liked them all

Royler and Renzo were both awesome and had great technique.

Royce was so damn tough. He had an extremely high tolerance to pain. He showed that in so many fights

Rickson's technique was perfect.


Can't choose just one.

I liked Sakuraba better than all of them.
