there seems to be 2 different ideas I was first shown to split the middle with my knee and try to slowly wedge there leg out to where its based on my hip the other way is keeping strong chest pressure my legs posted back to drive off the mat to get pressure while keeping my udnerhook of course head under the chin to lift them up I prefer this method I never see guys in ufc get put in the first one if he doesn't have takedown defense then probably but I don't feel the first one works well against good guys
