the art of deception is a skill bucko
It's the fight game not the friend game, kiddo
I think anyone who wants to shake hands when the bell rings should eat an uppercut on principle. That bell means time to fight not fuck.
People with integrity don't try and do greasy things like that to get an advantage and you can learn a lot about someone by the fact that they defend fighters doing stuff like that.

Its not just that, really it comes down to people dont tune in to see that. Maybe you didnt pay to see it but the people in the crowd did,and its just disgusting to watch some shit like that, trying to cheat people out of a fight.People with integrity don't try and do greasy things like that to get an advantage and you can learn a lot about someone by the fact that they defend fighters doing stuff like that.

Shut your tree hugging ass up. Fight when it's fight time. Honor when it's over. There's a structure for this. There's absolutely no reason to blur these boundaries.Where did the good sportsman touch you? Are they in the room with you right now?
MMA fighters do it out of time honored tradition and culture. Guess you wouldn't get it, or haven't had any mma fights.

^^^ best way to look at it.Nope, totally legal. But it is unsportsmanlike. Now, attacking someone who is reaching out for a glove tap isn't as bad. In that case a fighter didn't necessarily agree to touch gloves, so if the guy or gal ends up on the wrong side of a glove tap, but the opponent didn't signal he or she would do so, then the person who got caught off guard took the risk and made a bad read.
Not that I condone attacking someone who offers a touch of gloves, but a fighter should be prepared for anything and not let their guards down.
