Faked a glove touch, eat teh uppercuts.

that's an early stoppage, ref was trying to punish the dude for the glove touch feint. Dan Mirgliotta does little ref trickery stuff like this also.

That was far less than stellar sportsmanship.
A wicked field-goal kicking groin shot is well deserved.

The young prospect Erick Silva did a fake glove touch and got beat down for it. Young kids do shit like that, they haven't matured enough to know better. Like most up and comers I'm sure he learned his lesson and will still be champ one day soon.

Have we ever had a follow-up on this dude like we had with the Just Bleed God guy?

Both should be in the HOF.

Fuck yeah Ash!!!

<{JustBleed}>

Super cool guy btw! Glad to see him get this kind of buzz.

Also glad to see Jared pick up a win as well.

Manny Gamburyan pulled some shit like this once. I forget the opponent. Couldn't find a gif or video.

No, but it's still fucking stupid. On a real glove touch you don't get close enough together with the right kind of motion to gain an advantage off of a fake touch, so the fake is always telegraphed. Telegraphed fakes tend not to work out well against anything other than bottom level competition, and the fake glove touch also will usually kill any chance a fighter has of getting a follow-up fight that can improve their standing.

If you want to fight once and retire 1-0, sure, go ahead with the fake glove touch. Otherwise the fake touch is just marking yourself for a lot of pain and ridicule.
Drew Chatman was 7-0 as an amateur. This was his first and only professional fight. After he pulled this shit he never fought again.

I've said this a few times on here, but I'll say it again.
I think glove touches before the fight should only be for the main event because they're brought to the middle of the cage for the ref to talk to them, and he says touch if you want to.

For early prelims and prelims they don't do that so touching gloves should be reserved for after the fight.

It creates too many problems, and some people use it unnecessarily (Yair) is a perfect example.

I get the respect part of it, but not everyone has that thought process.
