Eddie Alvarez: Extremely lucky title shot, he was only 2-1 with 2 horrible performances(arguably lost to Pettis). Capitalized on the fact that both Tony and Khabib couldn't fight. Props to Eddie, but most fans knew his title shot wasn't deserved
Conor McG: 1-1 against perpetual gatekeeper Nate Diaz, got a title shot in virtue of being Dana's nephew
Tony: You can argue that his fight against Lee was for the real belt, but the interim connotation hurt its legitimacy. He also never defended it
Khabib: He is now on a 10 fight winning streak, fought legit contenders, showed up and won the belt in dominant fashion against a bad matchup (striker with KO power and good TDD). The legitimacy of his championship is unquestionable
