I thought it was gonna be McGregor fans. I've got this prick on facebook who shares everything Conor posts with captions like: "Champ looking big. Lightweight is his"

It borders on homosexual.
 
I'm sure we all grew up watching Bruce Lee movies, but some of his fans are pathetically dumb.

I've seen his fans say he would beat Muhammad Ali even though Bruce himself said Ali would destroy him with ease. Bruce was a realist and would be the first one to tell you that the guys in the UFC would crush him. He wasn't stupid. I know he would absolutely love MMA because of the mix of different martial arts, style vs. style, too. He'd be a huge fan.

The guy never competed in his life. He was a great martial artist in his own right but never competed, there's no proof of how great he really was. He looks very impressive in a lot of his demonstrations and on the heavy bag and such, but that doesn't mean he'd be great in a fight against one of the best MMA fighters, boxers, kickboxers, etc. Tons of people can look impressive in training, doesn't mean they'll be great in a real fight.

Bruce fought a lot on the streets, but that means literally nothing as a pro fighter and such. The guys in the UFC would hurt Bruce very badly. Bruce, at any stage of his life, would do horribly in MMA. Maybe if he had some years of training he could make some noise, but if he just jumped without any MMA training, he'd be murdered.

I'm a big fan of Brucee Lee and always have been, he was a great martial artist, but the guys in MMA are on a different level. They fight for a living, Bruce didn't. Practicing martial arts simply because you love it compared to practicing martial arts in order to fight to best in the world and become the best in the world is a whole different thing.

Sorry for the long post, but when people say things like this it just bothers me. Bruce would be mauled BADLY.

I saw the same thing about Ali. I think it was a post from JBJ's Instagram. The majority were saying that it wouldn't even be close and that Bruce Lee would destroy him. It's incredible that so many people can be so delusional.

Yeah, man, it's pretty ridiculous.

Bruce himself already said that Ali would destroy him. He used to put on Ali's fights and imitate his movement and punches, he was a huge fan of him.

Bruce: "Everybody says I must fight Ali someday," Bruce said. "I'm studying every move he makes. I'm getting to know how he thinks and moves". Bruce Lee knew he could never win a fight against Ali "look at my hands", he said. "That's a little Chinese hand. he'd kill me"

I've seen people say he would beat Mike Tyson and prime Anderson Silva, and of course now Conor McGregor. Some of his fans are just nuts. All of these guys would easily KO him.

I think people just genuinely believe that the things he does in movies would be effective against professional boxers/fighters in real life.

And I completely forgot this was your new acct name. How's it going, man? Are you excited for McGregor/Diaz? I'll be honest and say, I'm actually not that excited for that fight because they're both my favourites.

I don't want either of them to lose. I'm picking Conor, but I don't want to see Nate get knocked out. I want Nate to win because I hate seeing him lose, but I want Conor to win because I'd also hate to see him lose and I want the winning streak to continue. I want him to take those belts and go down as the greatest of all time for real, as well as seeing people whine about it. :)

I'm more than excited. I can't fucking wait. It's torture. I'd root for Nate against pretty much anyone else but I can't ever root against Conor. When he wins and then takes the LW title, it's going to be so fucking glorious to see the crying.

I can't wait to see him take that belt from RDA. I'm more excited for him to take that belt even more now since RDA did the exact same thing as Aldo and then talked shit after. Who does that? who pulls out of a fight and then talks shit? ridiculous.

Then we get to see Conor take the WW title, and then Conor goes down as the greatest MMA fighter of all time. Hell, even if he just beats RDA alone and takes the LW title, he's going down as the greatest of all time. Nobody has beaten competition like that and taken two belts in different divisions, holding them at the same time.

Beating Mendes, Aldo and RDA is the toughest competition by fucking far. Nobody has beaten competition that tough and took two belts in the process, nobody has done it.

Some will disagree with me, but if he takes those two belts, he's already arguably the GOAT and if he takes the WW title, he's DEFINITELY the GOAT. And he WILL take that WW belt if it's against Lawler. He's a horrible match for Lawler. Fucking nightmare match for Lawler. Most will disagree with that, but I see him putting Robbie down with a counter. Robbie is too sloppy, leaves too many openings and he gets rocked in basically every fight and just scrapes by most of the time. He won't be able to do this against Conor. I could say a lot more, but meh, it's whatever. Conor knocks him out. RDA is a much tougher opponent for Conor than Robbie is.
