No. Fedor deserves a tune up fight and a fight against an injured Fabio Maldonado is the perfect tune up fight...

* Insert extensive paragraph on how it's fair for Fedor to fight injured fighters because he's 39, past his prime and he needs tune up fights.

You will be disappointed, geek.

Says the sensitive Fedor fan. I actually like Fedor it just gets old watching him take fights like this. It makes as much sense as a Superbowl team competing against High Schoolers.

Stop pretending like "I actually like Fedor" when you hope some journey man beats him in humiliating fashion. You dont need to lie to kick it. If you're a Fedor hating Mark, then stop pretending you like Fedor..

You bum.

He's ranked a little high to fight Fedor healthy.

Everything Fedor has done after Affliction has been a shit show, what a shame.

:(

Love Fedor too

He is clearly a hypocrite.

Pointing out the obvious is being a hypocrite? Jon Jones' strength of schedule is miles ahead of Fedor's, that's not even debatable.

I'm a fan of Fedor, too, but these fights vs cans are tiresome. Especially when Fedor himself hypes up his come back as wanting to fight the best athletes. And we get Fedor vs Singh, and then Fedor vs a LHW journeyman.

There are so many people that would love a crack at Fedor and make for competitive interesting fights. Fedor seems to have no interest in those.

That sucks his fight with Dantas is cancelled, I was really looking forward to that.

Quote me a post in that thread where I did anything too bash Fedor. All I did was compare numbers and all of the sensitive Fedor fans came in and started throwing a shit fit. The point was to show what Jon Jones's resume would look like at this point if he was taking the same level of fights as Fedor did after he won his belt.

As an MMA fan it's frustrating to watch Fedor come back and fight this level of competition and for that I'd like to see an upset.

Fedor needs to get himself a credible opponent, Singh was a warmup, now on to a decent ranked heavyweight. Maldonado could be a 185er if he got in better shape. An injured, overweight 185er who couldnt cut it in UFC.

Seeing how badly Maldonado did on his last trip to Heavyweight this fight is a total Joke.

Granted Fedor cant hang with top heavyweights any more, that much is a given but what about Lashley who MIGHT be able to outwrestle him, James Thompson who MIGHT be able to gong and dash and KO him.... something, anything. Not an injured Maldonado. Peter Graham would be a cracker come to think of it.

Im for the 1st time ever hoping to see Fedor lose and its simply down to him calling out the best and fighting someone on a Maldonado.

Oh jeez just when you thought it couldn't be any easier a squash match

This is not really Fedors fault is it? Sucks for Maldonado, fighters fight with injuries too often. I hope he recovers.
