How many fights in his recent history have gone like this? Him losing by basically not doing anything? Sleeping pill.

He's a gatekeeper for the ages. Guys a great fighter but for some reason in the championship fights, he's just no there anymore. To be fair the knockdown took a huge hit on him, and it's so weird I've never seen a fighter with two bloodshot eyes like that.

Faber beats everyone outside of the top 2-3. It's crazy that he only loses in title fights.

The California Uncle

Faber could easily beat up top 10 guys for the next couple years and make a lot of money without getting hurt or taking much damage

You forget that TJ and Cruz are just on a different level

He shouldn't have went against Cruz to begin with, back to the undercard to ride out his career

He was nowhere in the Edgar fight too. Dude did the same thing as against Cruz, basically nothing attempting to survive 5 rounds by doing nothing. After the round ends and he knows his corner will be mad at him for doing nothing he puts a look on his face like "Damn I want to try BUT".

125 and 135 have no depth because the amount of tiny man athletes aren't great. UFC should remove the division in my opinion and force them to fight at 145, if they can't ship them off to the bum leagues no one cares about.

Does he need the money?

Its not just that he is fighting better fighters. He nearly does nothing at all. Where is his offense? Is backpeddling and shelling up a gameplan? It is embarrassing and makes it look like he doesn't even belong in the UFC let alone a title fight.

I still remember when people were calling him a champion for the ages. Now he's a gatekeeper for teh ages? Ouch.

UFC definitely has the TUFest crowd to please.

And usually when he beats them he smashes those guys, looks like a world beater.

Cruz is so hard to hit, I wasn't surprised.

I was waiting for Faber to go full tiger style like his corner kept hinting at. Faber looked a little hesitant after getting knocked down the first time, I like him so I was hoping he went all out if he knew he wasn't going to out point Dom.

Looks like Fabers looking to pass the mantle onto No love now, seeing how his post fight interview went. It wouldn't feel right if Faber took vindication from Garbrant beating an aging Cruz

dude, he was fighting Cruz ! very difficult to hit. Faber can still destroy almost all the fighters at BW

Yeah he only landed 1.8 strikes per minute in his Edgar fight too. The dude just tries to not get knocked out or beaten in an embarrassing fashion.
