Fábio Maldonado

Fabio all most put Glover out with a shot towards the end of the fight. And he went on to have great performances after. Where Tony was never the same after the Justin fight though
Tony was in numerous wars before his fight with Gaethje. Fabio never had anything like that before Glover.

His fight with Stipe made me realize the difference size and weight can have even with his notorious durability. I didn't think he'd get cracked and finished like that. But I liked Mabobabo.

Fabio was one of my regulars back when I was a degenerate gambler. Almost always a shoe-in for a decision victory or over 2.5 rounds, depending on the line. Thought Stipe would win, but was still going to take my usual props before finding something with a better line. Then I see Stipe won in under a minute <lol>

Glover fight was a man nearly beat to death. You would never want to fight a guy like maldonado in the street.

The fact that he could go through all that, and then still all most put Glover out with a shot says a lot

True, but he’d never took a beating like that before. And that fight changed him (the Chandler KO probably didn’t help)

Well I didn't say that he didn't lol. But Tony had numerous wars before he ever fought Gaethje. Yves Edwards, Abel Trujillo, Josh Thomson, Edson Barboza, Lando Vannata, RDA, Pettis and Cerrone. All wars and Tony cutting weight twice in under a month wasn't good either.

Withstood one of the most insane beatings I've ever seen from Glover. Dude is obscenely tough
Can’t believe it took five posts to get here. Fabio isn’t the guy who almost beat Fedor, or guy who was undersized by Stipe…. Fabio was the guy who got his ass beat the absolute most in a UFC fight ever.

JBG type of fighter, I liked him, always came to fight and throw hard and could be a punching bag at times which JGB always appreciates.
