Exactly how big is Khazmat in the cage?

Cannot remember the source- but on my Twitter feed last month, it was reported that Khamzat was around 195 pounds for his MW fight. He is a big WW. At MW- he would be on the smaller side. Costa weighed 214 pounds against Romero. Romero was 207 pounds. These figures were reported by the Commission in 2019.

he's a pretty big dude, for some reason i always think he's like 5'10.

gerald is a big tall dude and khazmat was right there with him.

What are you guys even debating?

He was an inch taller than Gerald so he's legit 6'2" and he's 200 pounds barefoot on record. Just found the thread.

13 inches

slight shrink to 12 during high intensity bursts

But then the turtlehead comes right back out with the quickness.

edit: oh snap I have a steel belt now. Because Hazmat’s dong is so steel that you can hang 25,000 wet towels on it.
Congratulations Sherbro!!!

Great sized WW, Id say he is a big 170’er being as tall and rangy as he is. He wont be towered by anybody there and matches Usman really well.

At MW he fits ok due to his frame. He would look kinda undersized compared to Costa or a Rockhold but with his style, he doesnt need to be their size, he has the range to compete with them also and they are not much taller.

he looked like a tall WW, not huge though. Magny is probably larger than him at WW, more muscular. khamzat looked significantly thinner than gerald in the cage.

I'd agree. He's a big WW, weird shoulders too - he's got that sloping shoulder thing going on.

89.8 KG translates to 198 pounds. That is his walk around weight. In the cage for his MW fight last month, he was reported to be around 195 pounds on fight night, which I posted earlier. He would still be an average to a smaller MW, when Costa is 214 pounds in the cage. Romero is 207, and other MW's like Cannonier are around 205 pounds. I hope instead of flipping back and forth between divisions, he stays at 170 pounds.

He is 6 ft 2 and strong as hell. Won't be undersized at MW, but can cut weight.

He looks about 190-195 range. I doubt he is over 200 Ibs. He looks lean

He looked pretty damn skinny compared to Meerschaert, so he's probably more WW sized, for UFC standards, at least.

Chimaev's 6'2, but he has a narrow frame.
I'd say he's a big welterweight but a small middleweight.

Magney would be a good test at WW. If he steam roles Magney he is ready for the top guys.

That'd be an interesting fight, I'd watch. For now we can take comfort in the fact that he's going to face Maia who, older or not, is still a threat.

Can't forget Maia already beat Magny and Nelson back-to-back, submitting Magny. Albeit that was 5 years ago. Still, he submitted Askren more recently. Really he's just dropping fights to the upper elite at WW.
